What do customers say?
One thing is for sure: whether you are looking for an induction hob, a gas hob, a ceramic hob or an electric hob, NEFF has the right answer for you. Have a look at our induction hob reviews, or gas hob reviews or electric hob reviews and see what our customers say.
What is an induction hob?
Induction hobs are energy-efficient hobs that create a magnetic field between the induction element in the hob and the pan. This means: only the pan or pot heats up, not the cooking surface. A few of our most beloved top functions come with Induction hobs, such as our Flex Induction, Flex Zone, Power Move or Power Transfer.
The difference between an induction hob and an electric or ceramic hob is the heating element that heats up the hob instead of the pan or pot.
What are hob extractors or venting hobs?
Reclaim your space! The 2-in-1 cooker hood
Some call it venting hob, integrated cooker hood or vented hob - we call it a perfect match. The hood is either integrated in the hob or in the worktop behind the hob. No drilling or ducting needed - recirculation cooker hoods (60cm/70cm/80cm width) are easy to install and a perfect fit for kitchen islands.
Find the best hob for you and choose from our range of energy efficient induction hobs, classic electric hobs, long-lasting gas hobs, sustainable ceramic hobs or one of our new integrated cooker hoods - and discover our inspiring world of features:
- Zone Light – Smart light elements replace printing on the cooktop with illuminated cooking zones.
- FlexInduction - The Flex Zone invites you to place your pots and pans anywhere you want and heats them exactly where they stand.
- PowerMove - As our Flex Zone is divided into three heating zones: boiling in front, simmering in the middle and warming at the back, you simply move the pots to the zone you need.
- PowerTransfer - Power Transfer recognises the heat level and pot size and automatically transfers these settings to a new location when you move the pot.
- FlameSelect - Thanks to the clever control of gas flow, the flame can be precisely adjusted in 9 steps. Rely on precise power levels for outstanding cooking convenience.
- 7-segment display with residual heat indicator – Provides a digital display of the power level selected for a particular cooking zone. After the hob is turned off, the indicator informs you of the cooking zone’s residual heat.
It's your choice: TwistPadFire® or Full Touch Control
TwistPadFire® offers ultimate control. Since the majority of Flex Induction hobs feature TwistPadFire®, most cooking enthusiasts simply point and twist towards the preferred cooking zones to activate them.
Our innovative Full Touch Control panel sets new standards with fast navigation and simple, precise operation by touching or swiping the control screen. The large high-resolution colour TFT display guides you easily through the menu, and its high contrast screen makes for excellent legibility.
Safety first! All our induction hobs come with safety features.
- Automatic pan recognition ensures that only saucepans with a smooth, flat base, suitable diameter and ferrous metal content are heated up. For your peace of mind: spoons or other objects on the hob won't heat up.
- NEFF Ceramic and Induction hobs also feature a child lock. After activation, the hob's control panel is locked until the childproof lock is deactivated.
- TwistPadFire® ensures that the induction hob cannot be turned on whenever the magnetic knob has been removed.
