Extractor Hoods in recirculation mode suck in air from the kitchen, filtering out grease and odours before sending the clean air back into the room.

• energy efficiency: windows can remain closed as there is no need for outside air. A must for low-energy houses! - flexible planning: can be installed in any kitchen, no need to plan new ducts.

Extractor Hoods in exhaust mode suck in air from the kitchen, filtering out grease and odours before sending it outside via a duct system and wall box. However, fresh air must be supplied from outside through external air passages or an open window.

Benefits of extraction:

• no filter-change necessary: the activated carbon filters used in recirculation mode, which need to be replaced regularly, are not required in exhaust mode.
• less moisture: moisture, odours, and fat that arises during cooking are expelled from the kitchen and sent outside.
• lower volume: the absence of an activated carbon filter means less airflow resistance and therefore less noise.
