If the hob operates for an extended period and no settings are changed, the automatic safety shut-off is activated.
What happens when it is activated?
The hotplate stops heating. F8 and the residual heat indicator h or H flash alternately in the hob display.
To deactivate the automatic safety switch off, touch any symbol on the hob and the display will switch off. The hotplate can now be used again.
The point at which the safety shut-off becomes active depends on the on the selected power level.
