If your oven fails to circulate the air effectively the result is often unevenly cooked food. Often, this issue can be resolved quickly.
Check that the oven is level
If your oven isn’t levelled the air will not circulate properly and this will leave your meal unevenly cooked. You can double check that this is the root of the issue by using a spirit level.
Maintain an organised oven and place food correctly
Overcrowding the oven racks with pans will obstruct circulation and this will cause food to come out unevenly cooked. Poor placement of the food when cooking can also heat food unevenly and this is especially true if you are preparing chicken or fish. For best results, place the pan in the centre of the oven on the middle shelf and avoid closeness with the heat source. You should also ensure that your food is brushed with oil or marinated.
If you have followed the above instructions and the problem still remains, we would recommend booking a service repair visit with one of our highly trained and qualified award winning NEFF engineers.
